ONE RANDOM THOUGHT

One way to truly serve God and obey Him is by freeing ourselves from DOCTRINE.

Doctrine to me is just the law in disguise.

Our manual for TRUE CHRISTIANITY should forever remain the BIBLE. The bible is the only book through which God speaks to His own.

Each denomination (Church ) has its doctrine that may/is contrary to the doctrine of another denomination.

We were thought as children to follow these doctrines, we were made to live out these doctrines because this is how they believed a Christian should live ( I'm not totally against doctrines though, some are cool while some aren't)..we were freed from the law only to be made slaves to doctrines and church dogmas (the dos and don'ts).

Our only doctrine should be following in the footsteps of Christ according to the pattern(blueprint)(Exodus 25:40) that God has made for each of us; the same way our purpose and predestination are peculiar to each of us is the same way God's pattern for each of us varies. We just need to trust and obey Him enough to see us through life's journey.

The only truth we need as Christians are the truth of God's word(the bible) and nothing else. Nothing matters other than God's word.

Just as the psalmist said, His word is a lamp unto my feet and a light to my path (psalms 119:105), God's word is enough guidance to see us through this troublesome world and help us achieve our aim of ETERNITY.

I believe as Christians we need to start living above Religion and focus more on our relationship with the Father of Light in whom there is no variableness or shadow of turning. At the end of the day, what matters most is our relationship with God, how well we know him and how far we've gone to obey His every instruction.

Yes God loves it when we become church workers, fellowship leaders or when we work in His vineyard as a whole but He's also very much interested in our walk with Him. Don't working for God deprive you of walking with Him. Don't be like Martha who was so engrossed in entertaining Jesus rather than sitting by His feet like Mary.
He loves it when we trust Him enough to fellowship with Him in our unique way, when we do not just consider Him a strict Father but also a loving friend.

Our future is safe with Him not just because He knows the end from the beginning but just as the Prophet Jeremiah said (Jeremiah 29:11); God's thoughts for us are of good and not of evil to bring us to an expected end where our future is secured. Just as He has said it, He'll surely keep to His word. He has wonderful plans for us y'all. He's the surest investment we can ever make.

God is always thinking about us, making good plans for us and the lots, He's so interested in our business that He knows about every single thing we go through.

Yes, He knows them all.

He knows how unfair you think life is and all the other shenanigans but He just wants us to trust Him enough and still tell Him about how unfair our day at the office, at school, at the market etc., has been and the lots.
He likes listening to our voices because to Him they are like sweet melodies.

He's so much interested in mankind that He had to give up His only begotten son so we could be saved and have eternal life. But he didn't stop there, He went ahead to adopt us into His household thereby making us coheirs with Christ. He also gave us access to fellowship with Him through Christ having obtained access to the father.

Dear friend, God is interested in your walk(relationship) with Him. When you walk before Him in obedience by seeking His Kingdom and all its righteousness, your purpose and everything you'll ever need will be unveiled to you as a bonus. Trust Him, He never disappoints.

He's the perfect father of all times, our surest investment.

This is just one of my random thoughts.

God bless you real big.

PAPA BLUE

Years back as a kid I came across this very interesting commercial for the Vicks blue medicated methanol lozenges. The man used in this commercial was funny though but after all said and down he gave the lozenges a nick name "Papa Blue" and up until now people still refer to the lozenges as Papa Blue even though some don't really know how the name came about. That's how life works.   Bringing this commercial down to our very lives, Do people have our names on their lips? What I mean is this- Have we been able to make impact on others? You may or maybe not agree with me that some persons live the I don't care kind of life but the truth is it doesn't help. We ought to learn living our lives with the mindset of impacting others positively so when we are no more or even now our footprint will be left in the sand of time. We are here to make impact to even the generation yet unborn not just to occupy space. In the words of Warren Buffet "Someone is sitting...

AND HER LOOKS I STOLE

An heroine she was An epitome of beauty Her skin as fair as the lilies Her eyes glows like the sun Her hair was black and beautiful It was her in my father's heart The first one he ever loved It was her in our hearts And her looks I stole A woman of strength A picture of virtue and fame She soils her hands in seasons Making the family one My first best friend Her pride I was Her firstborn child And her looks I stole Get me something was our last Mummy mummy I called But there wasn't one to answer I was furious at her Where could she have gone I thought Why isn't she here She travelled I was told I didn't know she was gone It was her in our Heart A vacuum has been created We were told to put it behind Years has passed Our heroine, Our strength And her looks I stole.
