DON'T BE A SELFISH CHRISTIAN😣🤔🤨😔

For sometime now, God has been bringing my attention to alot of things that many of us thinks doesn't matter.

I'd like us to ask ourselves some questions

Why was I saved?
What is God's purpose for making me saved?
Why am I part of my family and not any other family?
Why do I come in contact with or have alot of people around me?

I hope your Holy Spirit convicts us as we answer those questions.

Do you know that one of our assignment here on earth as Christians is INTERCESSION?

Yes intercession. We've been called to intercede for others not just our nuclear family members alone.

At the beginning of the year, my friend and I felt so hurt and disappointed about something that happened around us like we actually didn't expect this from those involved. That particular sunday we refused going to church because we felt deeply hurt and all those stuffs but trust God na😂

Everytime we kept talking about the issues making it more painful until the Holy Spirit got tired and told us something: Have you prayed?

🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

How does prayer enter this one now so we thought.
We bit the bullet and prayed and surprisingly everything was settled out and most of all we had our peace.

You know we Christians assume alot. We think because our pastors and leaders stands on the pulpit to preach or give their speech that everything is okay with them.

When last did you pray for your Pastors?
When last did you pray for the Church?
When last did you pray for even your local government Chairman not to even talk of your president?
When last did you pray for your country?
When last have you had that burden for souls?

Some will say I work, I'm busy so I can't go for evangelism but ask yourself when last has your burden for souls moved you to your knees while crying to God for their salvation?

That person close to you or in your street or estate where you stay or around where your business is that you just heard he/she is going through a challenging time, have it bothered you to pray for that person?

Instead of complaining and feeling  bad about Nigeria that if I'm to give you a flight ticket now you'll run away, why not use that same heavy heart to pray for Nigeria?

As Christians we've be called to intercede for those and everything around us. It's no longer business as usually we need to step up our game.

You see that backsliding brother or sister and all you have to say is God has exposed him or her, really?
Where is the Love that the Holy Spirit has bore in us?

You see that marriage crashing and all you have to say is the woman is not submissive enough or the man was warned or but he didn't listen?
Where is the heart of brotherhood that christ has inculcated in us?

You see that family finding it difficult to have a child and all you could say is, She played rough when she was young.
Where is the Love of the old religion passed down to us.

Where is our heart of intercession?
Where is that boy, girl that God is seriously searching for?
Where is the heart that is ready to forsake his pain and intercede for others instead?

God won't leave your case file closed up while you intercede for others.

It's no longer business as usual
This is a wake up call to us all myself inclusive
Instead of gossiping about that person or spreading the news, pray for them.

PAPA BLUE

Years back as a kid I came across this very interesting commercial for the Vicks blue medicated methanol lozenges. The man used in this commercial was funny though but after all said and down he gave the lozenges a nick name "Papa Blue" and up until now people still refer to the lozenges as Papa Blue even though some don't really know how the name came about. That's how life works.   Bringing this commercial down to our very lives, Do people have our names on their lips? What I mean is this- Have we been able to make impact on others? You may or maybe not agree with me that some persons live the I don't care kind of life but the truth is it doesn't help. We ought to learn living our lives with the mindset of impacting others positively so when we are no more or even now our footprint will be left in the sand of time. We are here to make impact to even the generation yet unborn not just to occupy space. In the words of Warren Buffet "Someone is sitting...

AND HER LOOKS I STOLE

An heroine she was An epitome of beauty Her skin as fair as the lilies Her eyes glows like the sun Her hair was black and beautiful It was her in my father's heart The first one he ever loved It was her in our hearts And her looks I stole A woman of strength A picture of virtue and fame She soils her hands in seasons Making the family one My first best friend Her pride I was Her firstborn child And her looks I stole Get me something was our last Mummy mummy I called But there wasn't one to answer I was furious at her Where could she have gone I thought Why isn't she here She travelled I was told I didn't know she was gone It was her in our Heart A vacuum has been created We were told to put it behind Years has passed Our heroine, Our strength And her looks I stole.
