LoVe sO REAL, LoVe sO AMAZING

For God so loved the world
that He gave His only begotten son
He had a choice
to choose between His son and me
He chose me over His son
He made His son take my place
Even when He couldn't bear to part with Him

Because of me
He forsook His only begotten
He made His son go through what I should have been through
He wore the crown of thorns for me
He was made to carry that heavy cross on my behalf
He was given vinegar in place of water
for me, He took the whip
for me, His side was pierced
because of me, He was forsaken by His Father
because of me, He died a criminal's death
it was all because of me

I stood there, taking His sacrifice for granted
I chose to continue in my old ways
neglecting His blood
neglecting his pain
I said to Him with my actions
'' I never asked you to pay the price for me'',

He stood there
waiting patiently for me
not once did He give up on me
when I was condemned to death by the devil
He said to the devil '' this one has been justified'',
 I cried
realizing how much pain I might have caused Him
realizing how unsensible I have been
shame and guilt engulfed me
consuming my heart
I was ashamed to look at His face
afraid to take His hand
oh!
How I miss the warmth of His embrace
guilt and shame held me back.

He knew I was filled with dirt
still, He picked me up
He wrapped His hand around me
He said to me,
''I Love you'',
He chose me once more
calling me His own
He didn't give up on me
He gave up everything so I could have life in abundance.

PAPA BLUE

Years back as a kid I came across this very interesting commercial for the Vicks blue medicated methanol lozenges. The man used in this commercial was funny though but after all said and down he gave the lozenges a nick name "Papa Blue" and up until now people still refer to the lozenges as Papa Blue even though some don't really know how the name came about. That's how life works.   Bringing this commercial down to our very lives, Do people have our names on their lips? What I mean is this- Have we been able to make impact on others? You may or maybe not agree with me that some persons live the I don't care kind of life but the truth is it doesn't help. We ought to learn living our lives with the mindset of impacting others positively so when we are no more or even now our footprint will be left in the sand of time. We are here to make impact to even the generation yet unborn not just to occupy space. In the words of Warren Buffet "Someone is sitting...

AND HER LOOKS I STOLE

An heroine she was An epitome of beauty Her skin as fair as the lilies Her eyes glows like the sun Her hair was black and beautiful It was her in my father's heart The first one he ever loved It was her in our hearts And her looks I stole A woman of strength A picture of virtue and fame She soils her hands in seasons Making the family one My first best friend Her pride I was Her firstborn child And her looks I stole Get me something was our last Mummy mummy I called But there wasn't one to answer I was furious at her Where could she have gone I thought Why isn't she here She travelled I was told I didn't know she was gone It was her in our Heart A vacuum has been created We were told to put it behind Years has passed Our heroine, Our strength And her looks I stole.
